I am Doug’s “genetic cousin” from the U.S. and I am greatly saddened by the loss of this good man. He and I talked about meeting in person someday, and we were about to start another search for our closest relative.  

My sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him. I hope that in God’s appointed hour he and I will finally meet with the common ancestor that he and I were still searching for. God Bless all!
